Morning after breakfast, pick up from the hotel and drive to Guruvayoor (around 3 hrs drive). On arrival, Darshan at the famous Guruvayoor Sri Krishna Temple, which is one of the five famous Krishna-Vishnu temples in India.
Later drive to Punnathur kotta (anakkotta) which was once the palace of local ruler. Now the palace grounds are used to house the elephants belongs to the Guruvayoor Temple. The elephants here are ritual offerings made by the devotees of Lord Guruvayoorappa. These elephants are being trained here to serve Lord Krishna and to participate in the other temple festivals.
Around 12:00 noon drive back from Guruvayoor. Enroute stop at Vedic Village, Kodungalloor for lunch. After lunch drive back your hotel.
